The rear seat of the 2027 Jeep Cherokee offers 38.5 inches of legroom. Jeep says that rear seating space is unsurpassed in its class. That helps when three riders share the back seat on a long drive. Front legroom measures 41.3 inches. Without a sunroof, headroom is 40.3 inches up front and 40.2 inches in back. On the Cherokee, Laredo, Limiteds and Overland, folding the rear seat turns 33.6 cubic feet of cargo space into 68.3 cubic feet.

Cherokee-trim seats adjust by hand, 6 ways for the driver and 4 for the passenger. Laredo adds heated front seats. Its driver seat adjusts 8 ways under power and adds 2-way power lumbar. Both Limiteds bring a heated steering wheel plus a 6-way power passenger seat. The Overland gives the front passenger 8-way power adjustment and keeps driver-seat, mirror and radio settings in memory. Heated rear seats and ventilated front seats are extras in its Advanced Pro Tech Group.

A 12.3-inch touchscreen joins a 10.25-inch digital cluster in each 2027 Jeep Cherokee. Wireless Apple CarPlay or Android Auto lets phones skip the cord on the Cherokee, Laredo, Limiteds and Overland. Overland and Tech Group models also show a map inside the cluster. Their Off-Road Info Pages display pitch and roll, altitude and GPS location. Traffic Sign Information on those models pairs the forward camera with Nav speed-limit data.

Six speakers handle audio from the Cherokee trim through both Limiteds. The Overland carries the Alpine 9-speaker audio system with subwoofer, driven by a 506-watt amplifier. The Tech Group brings that Alpine system, Uconnect 5 Nav and HD Radio to the Limited and Limited Altitude. Two USB-C charging ports serve rear riders from the Laredo through the Overland. Both Limiteds and the Overland carry a 115-volt outlet, along with a wireless charging pad. Built-in Wi-Fi hotspot capability needs a subscription.

Global Black is the standard interior color on every 2027 Jeep Cherokee except the Trailhawk. A dark cabin is forgiving when winter boots track in road salt. Laredo, Limited and Overland shoppers can pick a two-tone Black/Arctic cabin instead. The Cherokee trim and the gloss-black Limited Altitude stay in Global Black. Cognac stitching accents the Overland and both Limiteds.

Cloth covers the seats on the Cherokee trim and Laredo, with Labyrinth Embossing added on the Laredo. Perforated Capri Leatherette takes over on both Limiteds. Overland seats use Uniquely Perforated Capri Leatherette. The new Trailhawk is available to order from Glendale CDJR. Inside, red accent stitching and an embossed logo set off its Mantis Green upholstery. A Radical Red bezel circles its transmission dial. The dial wears a Black Spun Aluminum finish.
