Three engines power the 2027 Wrangler. A 2.0-liter turbo four makes 270 horsepower and 295 lb-ft with an eight-speed automatic and is offered on every non-392 trim, while the 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 produces 285 horsepower and pairs with a six-speed manual or, on four-door models, an available eight-speed automatic. The Willys 392 and Moab 392 carry a 6.4-liter HEMI V-8 with 470 horsepower and 470 lb-ft.

Rubicon models add the 4:1 Rock-Trac 4x4 system, Tru-Lok front and rear lockers, a front sway bar disconnect, and 33-inch or available 35-inch off-road tires. Jeep rates the properly equipped four-door Rubicon and Willys to tow up to 5,000 pounds and calls that best-in-class, while a manual Rubicon with the available 4.88 axle reaches a crawl ratio of up to 100:1.

Every 2027 Wrangler gets Uconnect 5 with a 12.3-inch touchscreen, which Jeep calls the largest in its class, along with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Sahara, Rubicon, and 392 models add built-in navigation, and every trim, the Sport included, is built with a 7-inch digital driver display.

Off-Road Info Pages show pitch, roll, and steering angle on the trail, and Rubicon and 392 models include Off-Road Plus mode plus programmable auxiliary switches. Alpine premium audio is standard on the Sahara and 392 models and available on the Sport S, Willys, and Rubicon.

The four-door Wrangler seats five and the two-door seats four. Cloth seats are standard on Sport, Willys, and Rubicon models, the Sahara uses McKinley-trimmed seats with 8-way power adjustment up front, and Nappa leather comes on the 392 models and the Rubicon X.

Heated front seats and a heated steering wheel are standard on the Sahara, four-door Rubicon, and 392 models, and a Convenience Group adds them on Sport S and Willys builds. Full metal doors with quick-release hinges come off without tools, a feature Jeep calls class-exclusive.

A Black Sunrider soft top is standard on most trims, three-piece hardtops are available, and four-door buyers can add the Sky One-Touch Power Top, another Jeep class exclusive. New 2027 editions include the Sarge with '41 Green wheels and the Willys-based Laredo with 35-inch tires and bronze beadlock-capable wheels.
