Whether you're interested in hauling passengers or hauling cargo, a good minivan can get the job done like nothing else. While minivans may not be the most exciting class of car, the modern models are more impressive than ever before, as they're packed with incredible features all kinds of drivers can enjoy.

One of the best minivans on the market is the 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan, and owners can certainly attest to that fact. If you want your Grand Caravan to stay in top shape, however, you need to make sure you're taking care of it. Fortunately, maintenance is easy as long as you stick to the 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan maintenance schedule.

7,500 Miles

Your first service is a minor one, but it's probably the most important. Here, you need to get your oil and oil filter changed. Old or contaminated oil can be disastrous for your vehicle, so you need to make sure your oil is in top condition. Keep in mind that this service will need to be repeated every 7,500 miles, which aligns with every other service appointment you'll need. Subsequent services will also need to be repeated in their respective intervals.

15,000 Miles

At this point, you've probably had your Grand Caravan for about a year. Make sure you get your tires rotated here to ensure they're all wearing down evenly. Additionally, have your cabin and engine air filters replaced. Your technician should also do a general inspection of your entire minivan, but it's unlikely that there's any problems at this time.

30,000 Miles

The most important thing to focus on for the 30,000-mile service is fluid replacement. You'll need to get your brake fluid, transmission fluid, and engine coolant replaced. Additionally, you should have your fuel filter and spark plugs replaced. Be sure to check the tread on your tires. They may need to be replaced entirely, but depending on your driving habits, you may still have a few more miles in them.

60,000 Miles

For this service, you'll have to get additional fluids flushed and replaced, including your differential fluid. The timing belt and drive belt also have to go, as four years is generally enough time for them to wear down significantly. Make sure you have your hoses inspected as well. They probably aren't leaking yet, but it's not entirely uncommon for it to happen already.

90,000 Miles

If you haven't replaced your engine coolant hose yet, do so now just to be safe. Additionally, you need to get your shock absorbers replaced. 90,000 miles of passengers and cargo causes a lot of wear on your suspension, so you need to make sure that your Grand Caravan can last 90,000 more miles with proper shock absorbers.
